There’s a reason why Longchamp has managed to move millions of units of its Le Pliage since the iconic canvas bag first hit store shelves in 1993: The affordable Le Pliage is both durable and functional, plus its democratic design means both women and men—yes, men—can add the bag to their roster. In 2012, the French brand expanded the Le Pliage’s range with a leather version.

Named the Le Pliage Cuir, this five-year-old style is now the star of a personalisation service rolled out by Longchamp. Good news for fans here: This unique personalisation service is finally available at Longchamp’s ION Orchard boutique.
The process is simple: You choose from four models to customise (prices start from $460 for a crossbody version), then mix and match your own colour combination from a palette of eight to twelve hues. Go all out by adding hot-stamp lettering on the bag’s flap, or add finishing touches with perforated characters on the body. Your one-of-a-kind Le Pliage Cuir bag will then be ready in six to eight weeks.
