As we enter the Chinese Year of the Dog, brands are rushing to put out the cutest accessories to celebrate, including Longchamp who is putting its own spin on things. The brand has tapped on influential Chinese blogger Tao Liang, better known by his online moniker, Mr. Bags, to collaborate on a special capsule collection for the new year. Taking on the brand’s iconic Le Pliage Cuir line, the Chinese social media star turned to the most luxurious materials and quirky touches for his capsule collection.
Using soft lamb leather, the foldable Le Pliage bags have been given a more structured shape and stamped with a pair of paw prints in a nod to the Chinese New Year of the Dog. The collection currently consists of a travel bag, medium sized totes and a clutch version, which can be attached the outside of the bag like a charm or carried separately.
The Mr. Bags for Longchamp collection will be available exclusively at Longchamp’s Paragon boutique from 18 January 2018.
