Remember the stunning new Louis Vuitton ArtyCapucines bags we featured earlier this month? Among the 6 re-designs of the Capucines was one by contemporary artist Alex Israel, a long time collaborator of Louis Vuitton, who lent his famous graphic, sorbet-toned wave to the bag. Prior to that, Israel designed the packaging for the brand's Les Colognes Perfumes collection. Now, LV has unveiled yet another collaboration with Israel - and this time, it is a collection of exquisite textiles like scarves, blankets and shawls, all featuring Israel's trademark pop art flair.

To create the strikingly modern, double-sided scarves, the House used a cutting-edge quilting technique. As a result, one side of each scarf is padded to recreate the puffy texture of Israel's original wave paintings, while the reverse features the House’s iconic Monogram pattern. They are available in 3 sizes (the biggest one, Jumbo, doubles as a blanket) and 4 different colourways.

Then there are the monogram shawls made in an ethereal silk and cashmere blend, onto which israel's recognizable sky backdrop painting has been digitally printed, in two different colorways. Below, see the scarves and shawls created for this collection, along with a special item which is arguably the cutest of them all - a bandeau.

The Louis Vuitton x Alex Israel Textiles collection will be available from July 12th onwards at Louis Vuitton Marina Bay Sands Island Maison and Ngee Ann City boutique.
