Since becoming Creative Director of Moschino in 2013, Jeremy Scott has been infusing the world of high fashion with a sense of zany kitsch. The Italian fashion house recently unveiled “Super Moschino”, a project in collaboration with Nintendo to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Mario from Super Mario Bros.
Available online and in select stores around the world, Mario jumps from T-shirts to intarsia knit sweaters to leather handbags and accessories. But just like in Nintendo’s version, Mario is not alone in this quest either—Moschino’s collection also features Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, as well as the iconic stars and mushrooms in the video game.
