Alessandro Michele kicked off Milan Fashion Week with his latest collection for Gucci, featuring a myriad of textures and prints, smart suiting, elaborate face masks, statement earpieces and spiked elements. The ambiguity of masks, coupled with identity and gender-fluid pieces, gave show-goers plenty to think about with regard to the nature of appearance. The show was delivered in signature Michele style—raw, whimsical and compelling.
