Marni's fall/winter 2019 show was characterised by a quirky, gothic seduction expressed through fluid fabrics, deconstructed dresses and asymmetric pleated skirts—all paired with metallic accessories such as chokers, long necklaces, chain vests and belts. Francesco Risso also presented a play on illusion with pixelated prints and varied textures, as well as a rebellious take on tailoring with maxi jackets that were cut and mended at the shoulders. The result? Interesting pieces and silhouettes that showcased experimentation like no other.
