Everything To Know About Shopping The Mugler H&M Collection In Singapore

Ranging from the gimmicky to the ones worth their hype, fashion collaborations these days are a dime a dozen. But one that has withstood the test of time in generating global buzz is the annual big-name designer collaboration with H&M. This year, the Swedish retailer joined forces with cult-favourite luxury label Mugler for an exclusive collection of womenswear and menswear.

The collection will consist of fan-favourite runway looks by Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader, as well as the revival of iconic archival works by the luxury label’s late eponymous founder Thierry Mugler—including a rendition of the designer’s Fall/Winter ’91 black velvet dress as worn by Alexa Demie in the hit HBO series Euphoria.

That being said, shoppers in Singapore will only be able to purchase a selection of the Mugler H&M collection in stores. Ardent fans of all things Mugler will have to shop online on 11 May to access the full range of womenswear, menswear, and accessories.
Of this latest collaboration, the Mugler H&M collection was described as one that is “defined by the irrepressibility of Mugler’s energy; flamboyant, playful, body-positive, youthful, and open to the many facets of each individual wearer’s identity. The Mugler proposition of clothing as a vehicle for transformation, and personal expression, remains as relevant now as it was when the house first launched exactly fifty years ago.”

“Mugler has always offered an open invitation to a broad range of characters and beauty types, and now, with this partnership with H&M, it is throwing open the door even wider,” the statement continues.
