Going back to the core of bareness, Max Tan took “To Want Nothing” as his motto for spring/summer 2017. With his signature androgynous aesthetic, Tan challenged gender boundaries through collage and playing with proportions. “Androgyny is more than just boys in frocks and girls in suits,” Tan explained. “It is an attitude that goes beyond the unspoken rules of gender.” His collection will address gender fluidity through feminine touches in a masculine voice. Case in point: blazers, corsets and tailored pants. Looking forward to his show on 26 October 2016 at Singapore Fashion Week 2016!
