9 Rising Designers To Watch This Season

Based In: New York. Not much is known about this stylist-turned-designer other than the fact that she's debuting her first-ever collection at New York Fashion Week this Monday, February 13th. If her clothes are anything like her Instagram feed, expect prints, color and unapologetically feminine pieces.

Based In: London. Though she's got a couple of seasons under her belt already, Molly Goddard is still in the early stages of her rising fashion stardom. Back in December, the designer won the British Emerging Talent Award at the 2016 Fashion Awards, making her an immediate force to be reckoned with on the London fashion scene. Goddard's Spring 2017 collection was full of dreamy and playful runway looks including plenty of tulle, ruffle and girly color palettes—paving her way as one to watch for whimsical designs.

Based In: Milan. Founded by Italian fashion consultants Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio, Attico has already become a favorite amongst the street style set. The brand's robe coats and silk kimonos have become their signature MVPs, helping to cement their status as the new cool girl brand for the fashion flock. This season, Attico will be one to watch for the next wave in It jackets.

Based In: Paris/New Zealand. Maggie Hewitt is already a fashion force to be reckoned with—and she's only 23 years old. Despite just recently graduating from a New Zealand university in 2015, Hewitt headed to Paris Fashion Week where her first Maggie Marilyn collection was picked up by Net-A-Porter on the spot. Her designs are full of ruffles, unexpected flair and raw edges, all under $700. From the looks of her Instagram, the designer is headed back to Paris Fashion Week again this season, and we're sure she won't disappoint.

Based In: New York. MISBHV made its New York Fashion Week debut last September and already has a lot of potential to become the next Vetements. Specializing in streetwear, the Polish brand has already mastered the art of cool denim, graphic tees, sweatshirts and plenty of items that could win over the street style set.

Based In: London. Despite not even holding a spot at Fashion Week yet, The Vampire's Wife has already had several A-list moments, including being worn by red carpet rising star, Ruth Negga this January. The London-based fashion house was founded by Susie Cave and features a line of vintage-inspired floral and feminine dresses. While we won't be seeing The Vampire's Wife on the runway this season, we'll probably be seeing more of it on the red carpet circuit, that's for sure.

Based In: New York. Earlier this year, one-year-old brand, Becken, announced the appointment of designer Chris Gelinas as its new creative director. Gelinas also designs his own line, CG, for which he's been a CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist as well as a finalist for the LVMH Young Fashion Designers prize. Becken, a brand inspired by equestrian riding and Southern lifestyle, has yet to show in New York, making this February its big Fashion Week debut.

Based In: Paris. Though the French brand itself has been around for a few years, what began as a menswear label has now shifted into unisex and womenswear styles—making it one to watch in the coming seasons. This February will mark the third womenswear show for Y/Project's creative director, Glenn Martens, and after last season's Paris Fashion Week show, we can probably expect more unisex and womenswear styles offering up something fresh on the runway.

Based In: London. Former Central Saint Martins design student, Dilara Findikoglu, may not have made it into her school's official press show, but she's decided to make it on her own since. After graduating, she started her own line of punk-infused, over-the-top looks full of drama and couture-esque vibes. Since, she's unveiled two runway collections that have managed to capture the attention of the fashion set for her unconventional designs and on-point tailoring. Her pieces have already been worn by the likes of FKA Twigs and Lady Gaga as well as in editorials for publications like Vogue Italia. While it's unclear whether she will show her next collection during London Fashion Week or at a later time, whatever's next for her we'll certainly want to watch.
