Bottega Veneta Gears Up For Two Milestones
The Italian brand plans to celebrate its 50th anniversary and Tomas Maier's 15 years at the helm with a special show

2016 is a big year for Bottega Veneta. Besides turning 50, it is also Tomas Maier’s 15th year as Creative Director of the Italian fashion and leather goods house. Celebrations are naturally in order, what with a one-off runway show already planned for September’s Milan Fashion Week. “I really like to organise this special show to celebrate these two milestones that are particularly meaningful to me, also taking the opportunity to widely gather contributors and supporters of Bottega Veneta”, explains Maier in a release.

Combining both women’s and men’s spring/summer 2017 collections into one seamless presentation, the extended show will also be held in a different location, away from Bottega's usual space in Milan’s Via Privata Ercole Marelli.
