Giving a new meaning to the phrase 'feeling blue', Burberry has turned Harrods "Knight Blue" for the entire month of February. This major collaboration between two iconic British institutions comes just in time for London fashion week, as well as Burberry’s upcoming fall/winter 2024 show on 19 February.

Harrods’ usual green awnings have been reimagined as peeled-back tent canopies in a seasonal Burberry Check—a new pattern introduced by Daniel Lee in his Spring 2024 collection—whilst windows are decorated with camping components such as guy ropes, draped waterproof fabrics and carabiners.

Nature and the great outdoors have always been a part of Burberry’s DNA—the fashion house has proudly been outfitting famed explorers and creating equipment for adventurers since the late 19th century—and the takeover showcases this storied heritage.

To mark the collaboration, there will be a capsule collection with more than 40 limited-edition pieces exclusively available for purchase at Harrods and on its website. The range spans womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and accessories; including a new Knight bag crafted from nappa leather, new iterations of the Chess and Rocking Horse bags, the Box sneaker in a new colourway and exclusive eyewear styles.

Visitors can also explore a pop-up space in-store dubbed the Burberry Camping Corner, which offers an array of classic British hiking accessories as well as snacks, including Romney’s Kendal Mint Cake, a popular confection among explorers and mountaineers.

This partnership between Burberry and the British department store also marks a special moment in the celebration of Harrods’ 175th anniversary this year.  And for that, Burberry has customised a run of 175 signature Harrod's bears, each wearing a miniature hand-embroidered scarf (available only at Harrods.) Burberry has also curated a custom Harrods hamper, which features a unique camping-inspired offering, complete with a limited-edition Burberry picnic blanket in the house's signature Knight Blue.
