Earlier this month, Loewe presented Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s debut collection at Somma restaurant here on our sunny island. Not only did we have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the spring/summer 2026 collection—the new Amazona 180 bags, fuzzy leather trousers, the secret pocket at the back of a leather jacket—we also got to hang out with our June 2025 cover star, Phuwin Tangsakyuen, and Thai starlet Film Rachanun Mahawan.

Phuwin: Eye-catching, clean, elegant.

How would you describe the two different looks you wore, and how do they best bring across your personality?

F: I really liked both looks! I’m naturally drawn to simplicity. My airport look felt effortless yet cool. The look I wore to the event also felt simple in its own way, but with an edge—I think that comes from the details, especially the hem of the dress, which feels like it has a story of its own.

P: For the spring/summer 2026 look, it was fun, colourful and very youthful. For the other ones I wore, they were more subdued because of the earthy colour palette but also very comfortable in terms of fabrication.

F: The leather coat with the red knit worn underneath! It really stood out—bold and powerful. It made me imagine a woman who is confident and full of energy.

P: My favourite look would have to be Film’s, as I think that it showcases Loewe’s identity of being simply elegant yet iconic.

What is your favourite accessory and details from the collection, and why?

P: The Large Amazona 180 that I carried duirng my trip! It was lightweight and could fit a lot—it might just be one of my favourites.

What is something you wish to do on your next trip to Singapore?

F: I’d love to spend time walking alone in a park, just enjoying the quiet moments.

P: Definitely to visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens!
