For the past few months, season 3 of The White Lotus seems to have gotten rid of our collective Monday blues. But beyond the drama and suspense in each episode, there’s something else that’s gotten our attention too—the luxury bags. As avid viewers and fashion fanatics, what’s interesting to note is that the bags carried by each character are not just reflective of their style and status, but also very telling of their personalities.

Portrayed by the hilarious Parker Posey, Victoria Ratliff has made it very clear through the episodes that she’s all about the cushy life, and likes to keep things classy. For a day out on a yacht cruise that led to a series of important events, mother Ratliff brought along a white Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag, which was roomy enough to keep all she needed. IYKYK.
2. JW Anderson’s Popcorn bag, as carried by Aimee Lou Wood

Aimee Lou Wood’s character, Chelsea, is a free spirit, an optimist, and a hopeless romantic. She collects stories, trinkets, and even her wardrobe through her travels and puts her fits together effortlessly. Chelsea always opts for large tote bags, often vividly-hued.

In contrast, Chelsea’s bestie, Chloe (played by Charlotte Le Bon) is sleek and fashion-forward. In fact, she wears a lot of Jacquemus—custom ones, in fact; and it makes sense. She’s young, cool, loaded, well-travelled, and she’s here to flaunt it.

Michelle Monaghan plays actress, Jaclyn Lemon, who’s on a girls’ trip with her friends, Kate (Leslie Bibb) and Laurie (Carrie Coon).
