As one of Chanel’s recently-appointed ambassadors, it’s only natural that the acclaimed actress wore a creation from the French Maison. Here, Kidman stuck to the usual column silhouette that she favours, and brought the drama with intricate beading as well as airy ostrich feather embroidery.
Chase Infiniti
The rising actress who plays Willa Ferguson in the Best Picture winner, One Battle After Another, stunned in a Louis Vuitton creation. Decked in lavender silk, the slip dress cascades into a waterfall of ruffles, adding plenty of oomph to the look.

Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson + Armani Privé? A match made in heaven, if you ask us. The structured dress is covered in thousands of blue and teal gems that resemble ocean waves, and Hudson completed the mermaid fantasy with flowing gold curls.

Paul Mescal
Irish actor Paul Mescal opted for a Celine suit from Michael Rider for his appearance at the awards ceremony. Rather than stick to the usual formula of a tuxedo jacket, Rider gave the Hamnet actor tailoring with a twist, as Mescal donned a cardigan jacket in wool cashmere, mohair trousers and topped it off with a loosely-knotted bow.

Jessie Buckley
As one of the few celebrities who opted for colour on the red carpet, the Best Actress winner walked the red carpet in a sweeping red and pink gown from Chanel. There’s a sense of modernity to Buckley’s look that feels fresh, from the deliberate lack of embroidery and the way that the bodice is architecturally draped around her shoulders.
Odessa A’zion
True to her own bohemian sense of style, the Marty Supreme actress made her debut on the Oscars red carpet in a plunging dress by Valentino dotted with oversized floral patches and crystal embroidery.
Michael B Jordan
The newly-minted Oscar winner did not come to play, style-wise. For his big night, Jordan and his stylist Jason Bolden chose a mandarin-collared suit by Louis Vuitton, and completed it with a trouser chain for that extra zhush.
Rose Byrne
As part of a Bridesmaids reunion that sent us back to 2011, actress Rose Byrne donned a custom-made Dior dress featuring vintage-inspired floral embroidery over a black velvet dress.
EJAE
The Dior streak continues with EJAE, who looked radiant in a gold Dior gown that came with an oversized fringed sash tied around her waist.
