In celebration of Onitsuka Tiger’s 70th anniversary this year, the brand has announced a special collaboration with seven celebrated designers from Japan and abroad. The first phase of this project, which is available now, is a collaboration with “CINOH” designer Takayuki Chino, who is renowned for playful yet mature real clothing.

“The design is nobleness, yet also has a chic ambience,” says Takayuki Chino. “To this I’ve added ease of movement, along with a combination of the Onitsuka Tiger standard colors of tri-color and the distinctive “CINOH” signature colors of white and navy to give this collaboration a distinctive look.”

The shoes are based on the OK BASKETBALL LO, which rearranged the brand’s early basketball model in a low-cut form. The colours feature a clean white theme, and the materials are a hybrid design combining uniform colours of enamel leather and canvas. Different colours have been used for the left and right shoelaces and outer soles, expressing the tri-colour design. The jacket and pants, which can be worn as suits, feature deep navy for a classic and stately ambience, along with tri-colour lines for an effortless and sporty feel.
