For 2016, Pantone selected not one but two colors of the year: Serenity and Rose Quartz (aka millennial pink). And today, we finally got a look at the 2017 Color of The Year: Greenery—a pretty significant departure from this year’s pretty pastel hues.

According to Pantone, the bright yellow-green shade of ‘Greenery’ symbolizes the “reconnection we seek with nature and all.” The color company went on to state that the hue seeks to “revive, restore, and renew”—which a lot of us could certainly use after 2016.

Greenery has already made appearances on the Spring 2017 runways, standing out in the collections of designers like Balenciaga and Sies Marjan. As the new year kicks off, it’ll only be a matter of time before the beauty and interior design industries start picking up on the bright green hue, so get ready to reconnect with nature in 2017.
