Sarah Burton created the wardrobe of dreams for Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2020, with exquisite pieces for every occasion. Dreamy lace dresses with exuberant ruffles and pouf sleeves were anchored by tailored separates and chic shirt dresses. The show celebrated communities and connections—from all the individuals (staff and students alike) who contributed to the success of the show, to the craftsmen who were key to the production of artisanal fabrics used in the collection—a timely reminder of what it means to be sustainable in the fashion industry.

@alexandermcqueen was an exquisite collection that celebrated collaboration, with embroidery over sketches by students of Central Saint Martin's. Also extravagantly gorgeous were @GiambattistaValli and @schiaparelli. @givenchy and @stellamccarney gave us looks that were effortless cool. @sacai blurred the boundaries of clothing archetypes.
