Dramatic, strong and unmistakably '80s
Anthony Vaccarello's show for Saint Laurent was dramatic and unmistakably '80s; featuring straight silhouettes, power shoulders, big bows, mini dresses and shorts (yes, legs for days) paired with polka dot stockings. Strong, masculine tailoring was at the forefront of the collection—evidenced in sharp tuxedo jackets, tapered trousers and form-fitting pencil skirts. Vaccarello capped off the presentation with the coolest light show complete with fluorescent numbers, pulsating bulbs and infinity mirrors.
