The collection was titled Marée Noire, meaning 'oil spill' in French or literally, 'black tide'. The Marine Serre Spring/Summer 2020 gave us a glimpse of what it'd be like in a post-apocalyptic world, in the eyes of Serre. The designer's signature motif of a crescent moon was seen throughout the collection, on denim, tailored suits, as well as accessories such as face masks and bonnets. Clashing prints were seen on key pieces with a mix of satin bodysuits and sift dresses paired with plastic raincoats for a variation of textures.
