Paris Fashion Week: 10 Best Looks From Thom Browne Fall/ Winter 2020

A Narnia-like sartorial fantasy

In a recreated Winter scene in the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts, we return to Narnia with Thom Browne‘s menagerie. Couples in matching three-piece suits complete with wool socks and patchwork coats strolled through faux snow, toting bags in the shape of every animal from dogs and pigs to giraffes and tigers. Animal motifs ran though the collection in applique and quilting on coats and embroidery in mesh masks worn by both men and women. This was a whimsical affair, always underpinned by the brand’s DNA of fine tailoring.
