As the saying goes, when one door closes another one opens. Earlier this month, Peter Dundas took his last bow at Emilio Pucci during Milan Fashion Week, after 7 years reinventing the brand – but he won't be leaving Milan anytime soon. The Norwegian designer, who has previously worked for Christian Lacroix and Emmanuel Ungaro, is taking the reigns at Roberto Cavalli, as creative director of the Italian designer's iconic brand. Famed for its exquisite craftsmanship and pure sex appeal, it certainly won't be a massive leap from the bright colours and geometric prints that made Pucci so iconic in the '70s.

"This is a homecoming for me," Dundas enthused. "It is an honour for me to continue to evolve the wonderful world of Roberto Cavalli. I cannot wait to get started."

With his inaugural collection set to launch for spring/summer 2016, all eyes will be firmly on Dundas this September!
