Score Exclusive Collectibles From Prada And Sotheby's 'Tools Of Memory' Charity Auction

The charity sale features one-of-a-kind items from Prada's fall/winter 2020 men's and women's shows

Calling all die-hard Prada fans! If having rare, collectible items from the Italian house in your closet is your idea of showing allegiance to the brand, then the Prada and Sotheby's charity sale offering limited edition pieces and objects from Miuccia Prada's last show as sole creative director is sure to have you sorted.

Part of the brand's fall/winter 2020 campaign, the Tools of Memory auction features a total of 72 lots comprising original, one-of-a-kind items straight from the men's and women's shows that took place earlier this year (think: clothes, candid backstage photographs, show invites, and set decor). Big ticket items include outfits worn by Kaia Gerber and Gigi Hadid, the show soundtrack vinyl by Frédéric Sanchez, and the 3.7-metre-high Atlas sculpture by Prada collaborator AMO/Rem Koolhaas.

Accompanying the auction is a campaign lensed by Gigi Hadid, Kevin Tachman, Daniel Arnold, and Phil Meech that "juxtaposes contexts, showing these items as part of the environment of the fashion show via backstage photography, and again as precious artifacts, presented as pages from an auction catalogue." The photographs become totems to the fall/winter 2020 season, immortialising the backstage and on-stage experience.

All proceeds raised will benefit UNESCO's new Keeping girls in the picture campaign and its Global Education Coalition Gender Flagship, which promotes the continuity of education during school closures and ensure a safe return to school for women everywhere.
