Queen Letizia Will Convince You To Invest In A Statement Wool Blazer This Winter

Along with Amal Clooney and Victoria Beckham, Queen Letizia has one of the best workwear wardrobes around, always inspiring us to look sharper and chicer for the office. And, as the royal headed for an official visit to Cuba this week, she convinced us to invest in a statement wool blazer for the winter season.
Posing for pictures in Madrid ahead of her flight, Letizia looked polished in a pair of black cigarette trousers, heeled pumps, a polo-neck top and a patterned monochrome wool jacket by Uterqüe. The blazer, which retails at just £200, is an excellent option for dressing up an otherwise pared-back ensemble, ensuring that you will look chic and stylish for the office.

The Spanish retailer also carries a skirt in the same print as the longline blazer, meaning you could go matchy-matchy and wear a skirt suit.
However, if you want to follow Letizia's lead, choose a structured wool blazer in a print that won't date – checked, tartan and houndstooth are all great options – and then throw it over everything from tailored cigarette trousers to more casual jeans at the weekend.
