Rihanna Wears A Glittery Black Gown For New Year's Eve In Barbados

Rihanna rang in the new year in style.

The superstar was spotted celebrating New Year’s Eve in her home country Barbados with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. In pics taken as she left a party, which you can see here, the “Work” singer dons a glittery black one-shoulder gown featuring and a thigh-high slit. She accessorised the look with a matching fur-trimmed shawl, black and gold stilettos, and gold and silver layered necklaces, with her hair worn in thick braids.

Rocky kept his look casual in a white graphic-print hoodie, jean shorts, and white sneakers. He finished the outfit with bright red shades and a black bucket hat.

The Fenty Beauty founder also marked the new year by modelling a Savage x Fenty lingerie set on Instagram. In the pics, she poses on a staircase in a modern home, wearing a royal purple robe over a purple and rose-gold lace braunderwear, and garter skirt set.

“When you actually lived up to your New Years resolution….pressure applied ✔️,” she captioned one of the posts.

Rihanna had a lot to celebrate in 2021. Last year, the multi-hyphenate was announced as an official billionaire thanks to her earnings from her Fenty brands, becoming the world’s richest female musician with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion. She also produced the third volume of her groundbreaking Savage x Fenty fashion show, and appeared the New York premiere in a sexy all-black lingerie look.

The “Umbrella” singer has made multiple trips to her home island this winter. Last November, she attended celebrations as Barbados became a republican nation. She was also named a national hero of Barbados at the country’s presidential inauguration. For the historic ceremony, she wore an orange silk halter-top gown by Bottega Veneta.
