Chances are you've double-tapped a pair of Amina Muaddi shoes while scrolling the 'gram at some point (or many points, if you're like us). The rising shoe designer quickly caught the eye of the fashion set and stylish A-listers alike—namely, Rihanna, whose love for the brand has led to her recruiting the designer for a gig at Fenty.

In an interview with Footwear NewsMuaddi revealed that RiRi hired her to help design shoes for the Fenty collection. Rihanna's stylist, Jahleel Weaver, originally reached out to the shoe designer to let her know he bought several pairs for the singer to wear. The Fenty designer has since been spotted wearing Muaddi's designs on multiple occasions.

Muaddi is known for her playful, bold shoe designs typically featuring whimsical heels and feathered or jeweled details. Rihanna herself has been seen rocking the crystal-embellished sandals and transparent, Cinderella-inspired pumps.

Along with designing shoes for her own namesake brand, Muaddi also creates footwear for Alexandre Vauthier. Aside from her new freelance design project with Fenty, Muaddi's shoes were previously featured in Rihanna's Savage x Fenty lingerie show during New York Fashion Week.

It should come as no surprise that Rihanna is a fan of Muaddi, however. The young designer herself has an extremely cool yet effortless style that extends well beyond her footwear. She's become a rising style favorite to follow among the Instagram fashion crowd. And now with a new gig for Fenty, she's truly one to watch.
