What encapsulated the Balenciaga spring/summer 2019 showspace was an immersive video installation by Jon Rafman, changing and evolving as the show progressed. The continuing theme of reinvention in terms of shapes and silhouette was seen through exaggerated square-shaped shoulders and raglan sleeves. Notable pieces also featured tailored co-ords and matching two-pieces evening suits with draped skirts.
