Set in the enchanted forest that only Karl Lagerfeld summon, Chanel served us delicious offerings of outerwear in new motifs from russet browns to the creamiest of beiges. Dramatic metallics punctuated the maison’s signature tweed in the form of over-the-knee boots, full skirts and wide trousers. Bags came over sized and nonchalantly folded over, following the latest trend. A stunning finale of black evening dresses with coloured gloves adding a pop ended the show on a high note.
