New York Fashion Week is definitely never short of star wattage! Case in point: Kate Spade New York and Givenchy's SS16 presentations today.
At Kate Spade, the star of Pitch Perfect, Anna Kendrick looked absolutely—if you'll excuse us, pitch-perfect—in a fool-proof LBD bedecked with embellishments. Psssst, ever the consummate professional, she was overheard checking with the camera man on the framing of the shot before starting an interview.
Attending a Givenchy show is like playing a game of “Spot the Celebrity”. This evening's special presentation at New York's Pier 26 saw a massive turnout of big names that'd easily put other shows to shame. There was Li Yuchun, Chinese singer who's the current campaign for Fall/Winter 2015, and Sandara Park, one-fourth of Kpop super girl group 2NE1. Nicki Minaj turned up in a full-on leopard print ensemble, proving she really doesn't need anacondas anymore. Other notable attendees included Julia Roberts, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Liv Tyler, Ciara and of course, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West. Befitting of their status, the couple were, naturally, the last to arrive.
