See The Best Valentino Haute Couture Fall 2015 Looks Here

When in Rome

Rome is the city where Valentino Garavani first founded his couture house in 1960. Though his designs have travelled around the globe to showcase themselves on countless of runways, Rome has always been the beating heart of the Valentino label. To pay tribute to this beautiful city, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli decided to bring the fall 2015 haute couture collection back home. A city that's both dark and seductive; that was exactly what the pieces were.

Albeit them being in solid colours of black, red, and gold, they were anything but plain. Sheer tulle and intricate embroidery showed off the character of the dresses, and striking gold pendant necklaces added substance. What we also (majorly) love is Chiuri and Piccioli's ode to HBO series Game of Thrones. Note the influence from the style of the Seven Kingdoms—cue signature necklines, gold capes and animal tapestry.

Our take on this collection? Couture at its finest. Here are some of our favourite looks.
