Meghan Markle is already proving to have just as much influence as her future sister-in-law in the fashion department. Anything the future princess wears sells out in mere minutes. The latest item? A dress by up-and-coming contemporary brand Self-Portrait Markle was seen wearing today for a Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.

Since Self-Portrait bursted onto the scene in 2013 with their flirty, feminine party dresses, it’s been the go-to brand for fashion insiders. Need a stylish look that won’t break the bank for your college friend’s wedding? Meeting you boyfriend’s parents? Self-Portrait was the answer.

A celebrity following quickly ensued. Everyone from our former First Lady Michelle Obama to Kerry Washington, Miranda Kerr and Zendaya have taken a walk down a red carpet in our of their standout dresses. In fact, the London-based label has already received the royal stamp of approval when the Duchess of Cambridge wore it for the premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob earlier this year.

While we only got a tiny glimpse of Markle’s look today as she sat shotgun in the car with Prince Harry— Markle Mania for the Nighshade dress has already begun. The midi dress made of guipure black and white lace with a solid, pleated crepe skirt has sold out. It’s fashion forward yet perfectly ladylike for a lunch with your royal in-laws.
