Seoul Fashion Week: The Best Looks From Münn FW17
Preppy schoolboy classics got a bad boy makeover under South Korean designer Hyun-min Han's deft direction

Münn was a veritable trip into preppy schoolboy territory, but, as with all things Korean, it came with a twist. Riffing on codes of prep, the label explored the boundaries of the uniform with a smattering of punk and rock influences.
Ripping sleeves off blazers, elongating shirt silhouettes, twisting cardigans and weaving them back in an intrecciato-esque pattern for a coat hem. Houndstooth dominated the runway as well, coming in bold inch-wide variations and smaller more subtle patterns.
One standout piece from the collection was its scarves. Fashioned from Harris tweed to resemble the sleeves of a jacket (with buttons and everything!) it made a delightful trompe l'oeil effect upon closer examination. It was a grown-up collection from South Korean designer Hyun-min Han that ticked all the right boxes.
