Stefanie Sun, Dew Jirawat, And All The Looks At Bottega Veneta’s First Beijing Runway Show
It's all in the details.
Matthieu Blazy’s time as Bottega Veneta's creative director has been nothing short of spectacular. Presenting the House’s first-ever show in Beijing last week, the Fall/Winter 2023 collection is far from just a repeat of the brand's earlier runway show back in February.
The brand’s close ties with Venice, exceptional leather craftsmanship and motion were conveyed throughout the collection, which features several new pieces and different colour palettes explicitly made for this show.
Exploring what it means to be chic, the collection began with a transparent white chemise and knitted leather shoes that transition into a trompe l’oeil pinstriped nightshirt, fully realised in supple leather. Art was also a major inspiration with Botticelli’s Primavera painting reformed in silk hand embroidery.

As for the accessories, Venice’s Murano glass made a stunning appearance in the form of luminescent handles for one of the label’s hottest bags – the Sardine.
Of course, stars such as Singapore’s own Stefanie Sun and Thai actors Dew Jirawat and Baifern were seated in front row to witness Blazy’s magic stomp down the runway. Scroll ahead to see all the celebrities who attended the show, as well as all the looks from the runway.
