Gigi Hadid has brought the coastal grandmother trend to the big city.
The multi-hyphenate was spotted out in New York City yesterday, sporting a menswear look that would make Diane Keaton proud. The model layered a cozy cashmere coat, in a warm beige shade and an oversized silhouette, over a tan-and-green plaid blouse with a white collar, a skinny white tie, olive trousers, and brown-and-white round-toe loafers.
Hadid finished the look with some cute autumn-toned accessories, including a green and tan iteration of Dior’s Saddle bag, a pair of square sunglasses with green lenses, and an orange bow adorning her high ponytail. She also added a pair of white and gold drop earrings and a large turquoise ring.

The Guest in Residence founder has made a seamless transition to fall-weather dressing, while adding fun pops of color to her autumnal looks. Last Monday, Hadid was photographed in NYC, where she wore a mint green sweatshirt with a brown knit collar bearing a neon green and orange geometric design.
She layered the piece over an earthy brown turtleneck, and completed the look with loose slacks in a chocolate brown shade, as well as a pair of brown leather loafers. Her accessories included a caramel-toned shoulder bag by Prada and a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses from British eyewear brand DMY.
