A Head Start
“When I was about 13 years old, my mother took us “back-to-school” shopping, and we each had $100 to spend. My sisters all selected outfits right off the mannequin, while I spent my time mixing and matching from various racks. Even then, I loved expressing my own personal style.
My style certainly became more “functional” and less of a priority in the early years of motherhood. It has evolved rapidly over the past two decades with the internet allowing me to explore every corner of the globe and finding new brands. I definitely feel my style choices are limitless now and even more experimental at this point. I am more confident than ever and am not afraid to step out in something truly unique that reflects my mood and personality.”
Style Mantra
“Lately, I have been leaning into the notion of “style has no expiration date”. Once you get to mid-life, you start to recognise your abilities are changing, but one thing that is perpetual is your personal style. It’s a life-long journey and I am not stopping now.”

Tiny But Mighty
“If I were an accessory, I would definitely be a choker. Specifically, I would be the Chanel strass chain-link choker. I love the juxtaposition of the big chain and the delicate stones. It is definitely an attention grabber that is as comfortable adorning a plain white button down as it would be a sexy dress or boxy men’s blazer. Less popular than other Chanel chokers, but “popular” isn’t a mandate for my style choices.”
Colour Theory
“Valentino’s haute couture collections are always mind-blowing and colorful. But who can forget the the house’s fall/winter 2022 show in bright fuchsia? My color-loving heart was rejoicing to see that much colour in one collection.”

Fabulous At Every Age
“A hope I have for 2025 is that the skincare industry supports aging as a beautiful process that it is—aiding in, and refrain from using the phrase “anti-ageing”. I am resolving to keep showing up, and not counting the years, but the energy.”
