TaFF Continues To Support Innovative Brands With The Third Edition Of Its TBFI Programme

Applications for The Bridge Fashion Incubation (TBFI) programme are open till June 11

TaFF's TBFI Programme

While our annual BAZAAR NewGen Awards will not be taking place this year in light of the pandemic, supporting and nurturing local talent through initiatives tailored to the fashion community’s needs continues to be important to us. Enter the Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFF)'s The Bridge Fashion Incubator (TBFI) programme—the first of its kind in Southeast Asia—that is once again on the hunt for the next movers and shakers of Singapore-based businesses in fashion and beauty.

Now in its third edition (since the launch of the programme in August 2018), TBFI's customised 16-week programme equips and enables aspiring brands by balancing educational talks and workshops with business consultations that are tailored to specific needs. The programme will address key areas such as brand strategies, product-market fit and effective business infrastructure, as well as expose brand founders to industry leaders, experts and potential investors, all aimed at enhancing market readiness.

TBFI's programme supporters include programme director and founder of local womenswear label Hansel, Jo Soh, veteran fashion designer Thomas Wee, Naiise founder Dennis Tay and resident mentor and a venture partner with Lyra Ventures, Debra Langley—who will connect creatives through the integration of technology, sustainability and design thinking "to build new fashion, beauty and retail business that are better equipped for a constantly changing world”.

Our aim is for all incubatees to walk away with an invaluable set of entrepreneur knowledge and tools, as well as a highly plugged-in international network of industry professionals, so that they can continue to grow beyond the 16-week programme.
