Harper's BAZAAR Singapore met Net-A-Porter's Retail Fashion Director, Lisa Aiken, in Hong Kong where she shared the key trends of SS17. We're really loving the positive spirit of the upcoming season, so why wait till 2017? Add some of the latest pieces from Net-A-Porter to your Christmas wishlist now, and celebrate the New Year with fashion forward style.

FIVE EASY UPDATES

Bold Brights

"Whether it’s a Balenciaga with those amazing sort of colour which was really vivid and amazing to see. We’ve talked about maximalism for a few seasons now, so for me it’s the next evolution. She’s still wanting to go for statement dressing but maybe not with all of the print and the embellishment that she’s seen in previous seasons."

Reworked Shirts

"There are so many women who want to make a fashion statement, and this is like a really easy way to do so because it’s a blue and white stripe shirt or it’s a white shirt and it feels safe but it’s still got a directional edge to it which is really important. And because it’s in cotton, it’s that really easy summer item that you can add into your wardrobe."

Logo Mania

"Call it the Gucci effect but the logo somehow looks cool and not try hard in the way that it has for a very long time. We’re doing particularly well with this at a contemporary price point. We've sold out with the Off-White bags, they went in an instant. I mean they barely even hit the site. If anyone’s looking for them we’ve got a few more coming through! We’ve sold an insane 500 units of Vetements socks in two weeks. And I love the story of Dolce and Gabbana and their genuine fakes D&G t-shirts."

Mini Bags

"I think what’s really interesting is something like over a quarter of our bag buy is now in mini bags. I think that’s very telling that I don’t think the mini is going anywhere."

Satin Footwear

"For shoes, go for something in satin. A kitten heel, preferably the Prada runway ones which were pretty amazing."
