While it’s no surprise that Instagram and Fashion Week go hand-in-hand, the collections this season seemed to embrace the photo app now more than ever. From Misha Nonoo trading in the traditional runway to show her Spring 2016 collection entirely on Instagram to designers like Calvin Klein and Dior staging InstaShoots, the power of the gram was not-to-be-missed. In fact, Instagram reports that this past Fashion Month, engagements reached 44 million unique accounts and had 360 million interactions—more than tripling the engagement during the Fall 2014 collections. In their Fashion Month data report, the photo app unveiled the top 10 shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris which garnered the most engagements—and the list may surprise you. While it comes as no shock that the top two shows are Kardashian/Jenner brand favourites, it is surprising to see Chanel further down on the list (even after staging the incredible Chanel Airlines, nonetheless).
