Throughout her Hermès tenure, Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski has kept the codes of nonchalant luxury that form the foundation of the House. But this season, she adds sensuousness to her work. Butter-soft leathers come in rich blacks, reds and oxbloods— begging to be caressed. As one has come to expect from Hermès, it’s the little details that make the biggest impact—be it minute pleating, studding, fringing or top-stitching. The subtle but striking approach extends to accessories as well; the standout is a pair of what looks like sleek black mules from the front, only to reveal heels that evoke glass disco balls when you turn them around—making sure that the party crowd will follow where your feet take you.
The shoes are $2,000 and are available at Hermès, #01-02A Liat Towers (tel: 6738 9807).
