Our first sneak peek at the upcoming collab between UGG and Telfar is here.

On Tuesday, the Telfar official Instagram shared a first look at one of the products a part of the collaboration between the beloved indie brand and UGG. The pre-order event will take place only on shop.telfar.net come Monday and will include two different shipments. The first will be a holiday card that arrives by Christmas Eve, alerting your loved one that their special edition bag will soon be on the way. The second shipment will be the actual bag itself, which is guaranteed to arrive between March and Juneteenth of 2021. Shopping via Telfar’s official website is the only way to secure your purchase for this highly anticipated drop.

Pre-orders will open to the public at 9 AM EST on November 30th. As the brand wrote in their original post teasing the launch, save the date and save your coins—the hottest gift of the holiday season is among us.

Anew collaboration courtesy of global lifestyle brand UGG and boundary-breaking unisex fashion label Telfar is on the way.

The collection was first confirmed with a teaser video clip shared via the official Telfar Instagram, featuring the brand’s founder and designer, Telfar Clemens, showing off a forthcoming piece: a glimmery, rhinestone-embellished crew-neck T-shirt with a hybrid reimagining the Telfar and UGG logos.

Today, UGG also announced the news by releasing a video showcasing Clemens modeling what could very well be more pieces from the collab, including the brand’s signature boots, a fur hat, shearling-lined vest, and neutral-tone sweater.

“I find UGG really sexy—a soft kind of rugged,” said Clemens in a statement. “I have made unofficial, unauthorized UGG boots in two shows already dating back to 2010. So, I’ve always been obsessed a certain kind of ubiquity and when something really unique ends up on everybody. What I want to do is get down to the DNA of UGG and see what genes we have in common. To get down to the core of that feeling.”

News of the brands emerging follows Clemens’s recent CFDA Award win for Accessories Designer of the Year, and the surge in popularity his vegan-leather shopping tote has experienced—it’s easily one of 2020’s most sought-after bags.

“Telfar is exceptional; a true pioneer and visionary and one of the first designers to believe that being unapologetically yourself is sexy,” said Andrea O’Donnell, president of fashion lifestyle for Deckers Brands, of the upcoming collaboration. “At UGG, we believe in the same thing, and that fashion can be real, democratic and aspirational all at the same time. This collection will be the perfect expression of our shared beliefs.”

UGG x Telfar—which is expected to be an ongoing business partnership—is set to release next year.
