The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show won't hit our televisions until December 5, but that doesn't mean we can't obsess over the outfits for a good month first. On Wednesday, Victoria's Secret Angel Josephine Skriver shared a sneak peek of the dazzling, crystallized look that will grace us with presence during the highly anticipated runway show.
The getup features a delicate crop top overlay adorned with 450,000 crystals and 3,000 strands of Swarovski crystal fringe. To achieve this detailed look, each fringed strand takes about 12 minutes to thread, and each sleeve weighs eight to 10 pounds. (Yeah, bling is heavy.)
And to top off the look, the super model also sports a pair of crystal-embellished, sheer over-the-knee Brian Atwood boots, created with 1,630 crystals. Skriver will walk the runway during the fashion show's "Bright Night Angel" section. So far, 52 models are confirmed to walk in 82 different looks.
Skriver, who had her fitting on Tuesday, said in a statement that she's excited to wear the sparkly look and plans to never take it off. "I am just going to wear this 24/7 in Paris and sparkle like this every day," she said. That is, if she can walk that much while wearing pounds and pounds of crystals.
