For his autumn/winter 15 collection, Marc Jacobs recreated the idiosyncratic glamour of the Stefan Beckman-designed backdrop inspired by Jeremiah Goodman paintings of Vreeland’s famous salon, both literally (bloody red walls, painted sofa setting), and figuratively (a sense of daring).
