Earlier this week, Burberry celebrated the launch of its new Thomas Burberry Monogram collection with a party in Seoul. The star studded event was held at Layer57 in Sungsu-dong with over 800 attendees including their brand ambassador Yoo Ah In.
Burberry will also be opening two pop up installations in Shinsegae Gangnamand Shinsegae Centum malls. The installations will compare and explore the perception of architecture, specifically the British royal buildings. There’ll also be abstract monogram castles, cardboard building blocks, silver and gold mirrored cubes and monogram packing tape.
The collection itself is for both men and women, celebrating the House’s founder and heritage through their latest signature interlocking TB initials in Burberry’s iconic beige and brown. It’ll also feature a prominent monogram stripe in red, white and black across their ready-to-wear and accessories line. Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci unveiled the brands inaugural Monogram collection earlier this month. The accompanying campaign featured Gigi Hadid who represents the British luxury brand’s four distinct characters—the boy, the girl, the lady and the gentleman.
