In Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2020 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière presents Louis Vuitton’s fluid combination of their New York and Parisian personas at the TWA Flight Centre in the JFK International Airport – just like how a traveller leaves behind bits and pieces of themselves when they leave a place, they fill the spaces with what they gain from their new destination and bring them home.

We see New York’s bright city lights and sophisticated skyscrapers emblazoned over French-couture inspired ensembles. Influenced by the fantasy of New York’s marvellous city-scape, and the French mademoiselle’s chic, the collection reflects the sartorial exchange between the two iconic cities and cultures.
