Titled Seditious Simplicity, Miuccia Prada's collection for Prada Resort 2020 held at the Piano Factory in New York was filled with pragmatic pieces made from honest fabrics—think overcoats, easy skirts, cable knit vests and utilitarian co-ords in cotton poplin, drill and gabardine, suede and leather. Pinstripes, checks, florals and embroideries were cleverly paired with a subdued palette of pastels, tonal hues and occasional brights to draw attention to detail.
