One could argue summer blockbuster season started back in March, which gave us Logan and Kong: Skull Island, followed buy Beauty & The Beast, Power Rangers and Fate of the Furious in April. But fear not; the traditional summer months of May, June, July and August are still jam-packed with superheroes, sequels, reboots and your favourite directors – all providing thrills best seen in theatres. Grab some popcorn for the most talked-about of the year.

Why: The French comic books appear to have heavily influenced George Lucas as he created the 'Star Wars' universe.
