The Obamas made history in 2008 as the first black President and First Lady of the United States, and have continued to inspire us over the years. From sweet birthday tributes to adorable candid moments, the former POTUS and FLOTUS are a power couple that never fails to keep it real.
Talking to Oprah about love in her new book, Becoming, Michelle stated: "I always thought love was up close. Love is the dinner table, love is consistency, it is presence. So I had to share my vulnerability and also learn to love differently. It was an important part of my journey of becoming. Understanding how to become us."
Lively and Reynolds met when they filmed their 2011 movie Green Lantern, where the pair played love interests on the big screen. However, their on-camera chemistry didn't immediately translate IRL. A year after filming wrapped, the two went on a double date, both with other people.
"That was the most awkward date for that respective party because we were just like fireworks,” Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly. “We were such good friends for so long and we both got to know each other as friends. It didn’t click for a good year and a half,” Lively added.
Eventually, the couple got married in 2012 with a dreamy Charleston wedding, and now have two adorable daughters together: James and Inez.
In a royal romance that took the world by storm, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first went publicwith their relationship at the 2017 Invictus Games. The duo then announced their engagement in November of that year, and were married May 2018 in a wedding watched by millions. Upon embarking on their first major royal tour together across Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand, it was announced that couple was expecting their first child. The royal bundle of joy is due Spring 2019.
The rap mogul and his triple-threat wife have 45 Grammy wins between them, and are still ruling the music industry nearly two decades into their careers. The power couple even managed to shut down the Louvre for their "Apeshit" music video.
Bey and Jay were married in a secret wedding in 2008, and gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in 2012. In 2017, Beyoncé broke the internet when she announced she was pregnant with twins, Rumi and Sir, who were born in June of that year.
She's a triple-threat performer and he's a legendary former New York Yankee. The A-list couple started dating in 2017, and seemed to be a perfect match. In 2018, Lopez opened up to Harper's BAZAAR about their relationship: "We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t. We both entered the public eye in our early 20s and overachieved right from the start. And that affects every dynamic in your life, from your family to your work to your relationships. We have a similar makeup."
In March 2019, A-Rod proposed with a massive diamond ring during a romantic vacation, sharing the sweet moment on Instagram.
Model and unofficial Twitter queen Chrissy Teigen and EGOT winner John Legend are an adorable, low-key couple who love to share their family adventures on social media. The two first met on set of Legend’s 2007 "Stereo" music video, where Teigen played his love interest. “We did the music video, we were together for like 12 hours,” Teigen told Wendy Williams in 2014. “We spent the entire day together, me in my underwear and him in a full suit, and I went to go say goodbye to him, to his hotel and we didn’t ever say goodbye that night.”
The two married September 2013 in Lake Como, and now have two children together: daughter Luna, and son Miles.
John Krasinski knew Emily Blunt would be his future wife when they initially met. "Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, ‘Oh God, I think I’m going to fall in love with her.’ As I shook her hand I went, ‘I like you,’" he recalled on The Ellen Show.
The two got engaged within a year of meeting, and had an intimate wedding ceremony in 2010 at George Clooney's infamous Lake Como home. They now have two children together, daughters Hazel and Violet.
While the stunning couple's careers place them in the spotlight, Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk keep their relationship very private. We were pleasantly surprised when they made a rare red carpet appearance together at the 2019 Golden Globes. Inside, they were spotted getting cozy and packed on sweet PDA. The couple, who share a daughter together, also made their Oscars debut together in 2019 alongside Cooper's mom, Gloria Campano.

George and Amal Clooney first met at the actor's Lake Como home in July of 2013 according to People. Interestingly enough, George's parents were in town that day, and they met their future daughter-in-law before the two even went out on a first date. The two were soon married in September 2014 with a stunning Venetian wedding.
Less than three years later, the couple announced that Amal was expecting twins, and she gave birth to daughter Ella and son Alexander in June 2017.
George gushed over Amal becoming a mother in 2018: "She is sort of this remarkable human being and now mother which is something, I suppose, you should assume she would be wonderful at as well," he said during an interview with David Letterman per Town & Country. "But, when you see it in person, it makes you feel incredibly proud and also incredibly small."
Jada auditioned for the role of Will's girlfriend on hit series, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. While that role later went to Nia Long, it didn't stop the two from becoming friends, and soon enough their friendship turned into a full-blown relationship. In 1997, the Smith's tied the knot in a swanky New Years Eve ceremony at the Cloisters Mansion in Jada's hometown of Baltimore, according to People.
In years since, the couple raised their two children, Willow and Jaden, along with co-parenting Will's first son Trey. "We don't even say we're married anymore. We refer to ourselves as life partners," Smith said in 2018 during an interview for Tidal's Rap Radar podcast.
When the famous footballer met Posh Spice in in 1997, their chance meeting was instant. David revealed (via The Sun), "My wife picked me out of a soccer sticker book. And I chose her off the telly. It felt straight away like we'd always been meant to be together." The two married in 1999 with a lavish wedding (complete with matching white looks, of course) and their status as a power couple began.
Today, the former Spice Girl has found success with her namesake fashion label, and soon-to-be beauty line. David went on to play for a total of seven teams in his career, and a statue was recently erected in his honor at the LA Galaxy stadium. The couple has four children together: sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, and daughter Harper. From adorable family moments to their iconic coordinated looks, the couple (and their stylish brood) only continue to get better over the years.

Tom Brady has won six Super Bowl championships with the New England Patriots, and Gisele Bündchen is currently the 5th highest-paid supermodel, according to Forbes. While their relationship started off slightly rocky (two months into their relationship, Brady told Gisele that his ex was pregnant with his baby) the two have come through it all more in love than ever.
"I felt my world had been turned upside down. Needless to say, that wasn't an easy time. But it was a time that brought about so much growth," Gisele revealed in her memoir.
Bündchen and Brady got married in April 2009 and welcomed son Benjamin in December that year. Their daughter Vivian was born in 2012.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met in 2001 while studying at St. Andrews, in an encounter that was more relatable than royal. In their official engagement interview back in 2010, Kate admitted that when she first met the royal, she "went bright red... and scuttled off feeling very shy." However, those nerves didn't last long once the pair became close friends. While the two splitfor a short period of time in 2007, they ultimately realized they needed to be together.
After their fairytale wedding in 2011, the two are now parents to three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Oprah Winfrey and her long-time partner Stedman Graham have been together since her namesake television show debuted in 1986. Nearly 33 years later, the two are still together and more in love than ever. Although they were engaged in 1992, the two never officially married. However, heir long-term partnership is clearly working for them to last longer than many Hollywood marriages.
In a 2015 segment that aired on the Own network, Stedman shared his feelings about being there for his other half. "I want her to succeed and be as successful as she possibly can, so I encourage that," he said.
Mila Kunis and Ashton first meet on the set of their hilarious television show That '70s Show. At the time Mila was in a long-term relationshipwith McCully Culkin and Kutcher eventually married, then divorced Demi Moore. In 2012, the two reconnected at the Golden Globes. and were engaged by 2014.
"We started dating with the idea we're both never going to get married," Kunis said to Howard Stern. "[Kutcher] just got out of a marriage. I got out of a long relationship. I was single and having the best time ever. I was totally dating, having a great time, and I was like, 'I'm never getting married.' He's like, 'Great, neither am I!' After a public divorce with Tom Cruise in 2001, Kidman felt she might never find love again. "It took me a very long time to heal," she admittedto DuJour in 2012. "It was a shock to the system." However, in 2005, Kidman caught Keith Urban's eye at the G'Day USA gala. After some back and forth courting, the two Aussies became engaged and walked their first red carpet together at the 2006 Grammys.
"I have a wife who is just from another planet," Urban told Rolling Stone in 2014. "She is so celestial. I say that I was born into her. That is the best way I can describe how I feel about her and us."
13 years later, the couple share two daughters together: Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Kidman also has two adopted children with Tom Cruise: Isabella and Connor.
Ellen and Portia started dating in 2004, and were later married in 2008 after the California Supreme Court overturned the ban on same-sex marriage. "I'm so grateful for the love in my life," DeGeneres told People in 2016. "Because not everybody finds that. Not everybody finds that best friend."
After meeting on the set of their film The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011, rumors swirled that Mendes and Gosling were dating. However, the two attempted to keep their relationship under wraps. It wasn't until People reported that Eva was pregnant with the couple’s first child, Esmeralda, in 2014 that their couple status was confirmed. A source at the time told the outletthat things “with Ryan are different” and Eva has “finally found the person she really wants to be with.”
Mendes later gave birth to a second daughter, Amada, in 2016. Over time, the couple has opened up more about each other and their adorable family. When Gosling won a Golden Globe Award for Lala Land, he dedicated his award to Mendes:

With a mutual love of the theatre, baseball, and New York City, it's no wonder Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick fell in love and tied the knot in 1997. In true Carrie Bradshaw form, SJP went bold in a black Morgane Le Fay dress.
Decades later and their love is still going strong. In the 2013 September Issue of BAZAAR, SJP stated: "I love Matthew Broderick. Call me crazy, but I love him. We can only be in the marriage we are. We're very devoted to our family and our lives. I love our life. I love that he's the father of my children, and it's because of him that there's this whole other world that I love."
While Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell aren't technically married, their happy and long-lasting relationship (35 years and counting) speaks for itself. The two met on-set of the 1966 Disney film The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band. However, it wasn't until 1983 when Russell won over Hawn on the set of Swing Shift.
"Look, I’ve said this for 34 years, I don’t think Goldie and I, in real terms, are any different than any other couple; we go through all the same things," Russell said in a 2018 interview with People. "But the important thing of who the two people are in a relationship is what you have to deal with. There’s gonna be ups and downs and sideways and everything else. I just think after 34 years you’re gonna have experienced every emotion that you can together."
If Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson didn't fall in love, Hanks might not have won an Oscar for Forest Gump. "I view my wife as my lover, and we have a bond that goes beyond words like wife or girlfriend or mother," Hanks told Oprah Winfrey in 2001. The couple has been married for over 30 years, and certainly embody #couplegoals with their low-key relationship.
These two hardly need an introduction, as the Clintons are a true political powerhouse. Their 40-year-plus relationship has seen some major wins and a few hard spots, but together they have overcome these roadblocks.

Leslie and Judd have been together for over two decades, which may seem like a lifetime to others in Hollywood. However, for their first date, the actress "didn’t realize it was a date” initially. "I kept trying to cancel and he was like ‘No, I really want you to come to this basketball game’ and so I was like ah fine,” she revealed on LIVE with Kelly and Michael in 2016 (via The Knot).
Since marrying in 1997, the two have two daughters together, Maude and Iris. The key to a successful marriage, according to Apatow? "It's easier if you marry Leslie [Mann]. That's advice that's harder for others to take, I guess. We get up on Sunday mornings and we watch Oprah's SuperSoul Sunday and it cleanses us, he told Vice. "We learn things and then we try to apply them and then by the end of the week, we've forgotten everything we saw and we watch a new one." Pretty good advice, if you ask us.
NPH and his husband David Burtka have been boo'd up for 14 years. On their fourth wedding anniversary, NPH gave us an intimate look at their srunning outdoor evening ceremony.
"Four years ago today. How time flies - especially when you have someone special to share it with. After 14 years, two children, and thousands of adventures together, I’ve never been happier. When one of the most acclaimed actresses in Hollywood marries the head of fashion conglomerate Kering, the term power couple is almost an understatement. While they do not shy away from industry events, the two prefer to keep their relationship low-key.
"It's such a romantic, amazing story, but it is mine. I don't want to vulgarize it by making it into a story to make myself interesting," Hayek told Town & Country in her April 2019 cover story. "[He's] the best husband in the world. I get to be who I am with him, and I don't feel that somebody tries to limit me."
