4 Spring 2023 Jewellery Trends That Can Transform Your Style In A Minute (Or Less)
We'll all be wearing these earrings and necklaces soon.
Jewellery is often the last thing you put on before you walk out the door. The addition of a stack of rings, a collection of chunky necklaces, or even a pair of statement earrings can cement the vibe you're going for on any given day, without the need for much more accessorising. This past fashion week, the spring 2023 jewelry trends included both the casually quirky and the over-the-top elegant. The gamut of gold and gems, if you will.
On the more casual end of the spectrum, there are the straight-from-the-estate-sale beads and shells, which feel like a continuation of the larger craftcore trend that's continued to cycle through the last two years. They're the everyday earrings and necklaces that you can easily throw on for a grocery run or quick catch-up with a friend. On the fancier side of things, designers like Proenza Schouler and Nensi Dojaka made the case for styling eveningwear (namely slinky black dresses) with nothing but a pair of long, dangling earrings.
One of the fun things about this season's trends is that you can also try DIY-ing them yourself. Grab a favorite at-home knick-knack and simply string it around your neck. Or, gather up your shell collection and string it together into a bracelet. Crafting may not be for everyone, but given the colder temperatures, it may be a welcome indoor activity to finally give a try. If not, our other favorite cold weather activity is online shopping, and every major jewelry trend is shoppable right now. Or you can try both. If there's anything last season's runways taught us, it's that you can't have too much jewelry.

Craftcore is here to stay. Going into 2023, designers are finding ways to incorporate beads, shells, and stones into their jewelry designs. The necklaces and earrings, as spotted at Coach and Marina Moscone, look like they could have been found at the bottom of your grandma's jewelry box.

Break out the biceps. This spring, expect to see wrists and arms adorned with cool cuffs. Tory Burch's twisted take has a fanciful feel, while Michael Kors offered up a more minimal version worn bilaterally. Whatever your preferred form of arm flex may be, you'll surely be leaving sleeves behind.

When models walked down the runway at Proenza Schouler, their sleek, swept-back hair and long, dangling earrings were a powerful combination. Theirs wasn't the only runway where long earrings finished each outfit. Instead of taking away from the polished-yet-cool clothes, the eye-catching baubles added a sense of sophistication to the overall look. Want to dress up with minimal effort? Statement earrings are the way to go. As seen at: Proenza Schouler
