6 Singapore Businesses Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

One small contribution can make a big impact.

Shangri-La Singapore

Breast cancer affects one out of 11 women in Singapore – they are mothers, daughters, nieces, wives, friends and even strangers on the street. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, let us show our support for these strong women by shopping at organisations and brands which are passionate about the cause.

In partnership with SOLIS Breast Cancer and Surgery Centre, the footwear brand dropped the EDRIDA collection, fronted by a pair of limited edition pink espadrilles to celebrate survivors and raise awareness about the importance of early detection, care and treatment.
The PAZZION Café located at Takashimaya and Jewel is serving a special drink, Pink Moon, throughout the month as well. 30 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation to fund research and support those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The ERIDA pink espadrilles cost $96 and the Pink Moon costs $9. Click here for more information.

For every Pink High Tea takeaway sold this month, Shangri-La Singapore will donate $5 to the Breast Cancer Foundation. The three-tier stand includes an assortment of appetisers and desserts, such as the pink mentaiko with sakura egg salad and the strawberry yuzu tart, to be enjoyed in the comforts of your own home.
Those who prefer dine-in can enjoy this set from Thursdays to Sundays throughout the month at the hotel's Rose Veranda with an added choice of one main course. If this isn’t enough to curb your sweet tooth, head over to Shophouse and pick up the Pink Hope – a large Isaphan macaron filled with raspberry marmalade, litchi and rose ganache.
The Pink High Tea takeaway set costs $88, the dine-in set costs $108 and the Pink Hope macaron costs $68. Click here for more information.
