7 Luxury Men’s Watches That Look Great On Women

Ladies, ditch the diamonds. It’s time to go big and get stylish with a man’s timepiece

July 12, 2018

There’s a general divide in the watch industry that separates men’s watches from women’s watches. Besides being smaller, women’s watches generally are offered in more feminine colours, and feature more diamonds. But the thing about the modern woman is that she’s not looking for something pink-toned, jewel-encrusted, or even something elegant and tiny.

Here’s what’s capturing the attention of the fairer sex: Pieces that are at least 38mm in diameter, and have a stronger, more powerful design and feel. While these watches might have been initially made for men, they’d look great on the ladies, too. Check out a few classic favourites that make great arm candy.

Breitling’s Navitimer has gone through very little change since its debut in 1952. Originally made as a pilot’s watch, its design details remain eye-catching with chronograph counters, hour markers and red highlights. This watch, with a steel bracelet in mercury silver and a face diameter of 43mm, exudes a sporty yet classy feel. Photo: Breitling

When Panerai’s popularity skyrocketed in the early 2000s, the brand’s signature Radiomir and Luminor were quickly popular with many male watch collectors. However the iconic brand’s shape and style is equally attractive on a woman, with its statement-making black dial and eye-catching hardware hard to miss. Photo: Panerai
5. Omega Museum

There are plenty of Omega models such as the Seamaster and Speedmaster that are perfectly unisex, but their specialty Museum piece is all about heritage and history. This new reissue features a pulsometer scale and 30-minute recorder in a 39mm 18K yellow gold case. It’s limited to just 1938 pieces, so you know you’re one of the few to wear it, when you buy it.
