The first Monday in May is otherwise known as the date of the annual Met Gala, where the world’s most famous gather together in an extravagant celebration of fashion. The theme of the 2019 event is ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ – which, in this context, refers to ‘exaggerated fashion’ – meaning we’re likely to be treated to some seriously over-the-top style.
